For the long Easter weekend I went to Rachel's home in the Blue Mountains. On Friday we went to Featherdale Wildlife Park, and as the photos show, I got to pet kangaroos and a koala!
It was amazing!! 
Later that evening Rachel's parents took us and her older sister (Nicole) to Euroka Clearing in Glenbrook National Park, which is near their home in the Blue Mts. It's the type of park where you can go camping, have cookouts, and go hiking. There we saw lots of wild kangaroos... even one mama with a joey in her pouch! (You'll have to look carefully in the photo to see the joey, though). The wild kangaroos were really calm and let us get pretty close.
It was a fantastic experience!

"Getaway" with Newcastle Christian Students

Okay, I have to explain some of these pictures... Most of them are from a game called "Heads or Tails". Everyone is paired up (boys with boys, and girls with girls). You have one sheet of a newspaper that you both must be standing on, without any part of your body touching the grass. Two coins are flipped each round, and before the flip both partners must pick either "heads" or "tails" by placing a hand on their own head or backside. If between both partners the guesses match the 2 coins, you stay how you are. But if one or both of your guesses is wrong, you have to fold your newspaper in half and reposition yourselves on it. Eventually, there isn't much room on the paper, so partners have to carry each other or find other ways to fit on the paper. The boys were VERY creative and made it more difficult for themselves by finding odd ways of standing together... So forgive the shady-looking poses... it was all very much in innocent fun!!!

Brisbane Water National Park
|

This day I went hiking in Brisbane Water National Park with several girls. Amongst them were Prue (one of my Reality Bible study leaders), Beth (from my Buddy Block & from my Reality Bible study group), and Rachel (my friend from Evatt with whom I go to Unichurch & Reality). It was a beautiful, awesome, and tiring day!

For the PJ Pub Night, my unit went as "Insomniacs"... As you can see in the photos, we look more like druggies or zombies than insomniacs, but I guess in the end we looked crazy, and that was our goal haha!

This night my unit, C 1st, decided to have a block dinner. We made homemade pizzas, which tasted amazing!!! And they were a ton of fun to make as well!
